Journeys of Faith

 God tested Abraham many times during his lifetime, but the greatest test came when God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham did not question or resist. He simply responded in obedience. When Abraham and his son reached Mount Moriah, he built an altar and laid Isaac upon it. As Abraham raised the knife, God knew that there was no end to Abraham’s love and obedience. As a result, He provided a ram to sacrifice instead.
