Our Mission

The mission of Providence Baptist Church is the same mission Jesus gave His disciples: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Our Vision

The vision of Providence Baptist Church is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a community transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Our Pastor

Kyle Spatz

Pastor Spatz joined Providence in November 2024, bringing a passion for preaching God’s Word and seeing lives transformed. He and his wife, Marlie, have two children, Evie and Elliott. Prior to Providence, they served in various ministry roles, including Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor, always seeking to honor Christ and love God's people.
Our Leadership

OUR HISTORY

Providence Baptist Church began in December of 1866. Although much has changed over the course of our 150-year history, the essentials remain the same. The sincere desire of our hearts is to faithfully follow the Lord. We want to follow Him in our approach to ministry, in what we do and how we do it. He is the Builder and Shepherd of the Church. Our mission at Providence Baptist is to stay in step with the LORD. We seek to Love God and worship Him in spirit and truth. We work to follow the example of the Lord Jesus to Love Others as He loves us. We endeavor to Serve God and to actively yield our lives to Him for His work and for His glory. At every step of the way, we Invite Others to join us in this journey.

Hudson Taylor famously said, 'God is always advancing!' By the grace of God, Providence Baptist Church is advancing with the Lord! Through meaningful Bible Study, authentic relationships, and focused ministry we are moving forward.
