An Ephah Goeth Forth - Zechariah 5:6

This 7th vision, like the previous, presents a warning of coming judgment. The commercial practices of Israel are brought into focus and soon the attention turns to the world at large. The vision of the Ephah addressed Zechariah’s present but looks to a time yet future when all the world will be under the influence of a ‘woman’ in an ephah. An Ephah Goeth Forth and in it we see its significance, its sinfulness, and its setting up in Shinar.
